Hyundai i40 won the Golden Award EuroCarBody Conference

Auto News: Hyundai i40 successfully won the Golden Award EuroCarBody Conference, to variants of i40, in Frankfurt, Germany.

Hyundai is able to set aside nine other established manufacturers from Europe and Japan. Hyundai also became the first South Korean manufacturer that is able to achieve awards and captured the attention of the observer 500 automotive.

Hyundai i40 achieved the highest points, 37.98 points, from 50 points maximum. In the second place there is the Audi A6, which stood at 35.86 points, and following the Mercedes Benz B-Class in the third position by collecting 34.66 points.

Hyundai i40 has three optional engines with 1.6 liter gasoline engine and two 1.7-liter diesel engine. With a choice of three trim levels namely Active, Style and Premium, An automatic transmission gearbox available as an option on high-powered diesel engine.

Standard features include a prepared 16-inch alloy wheels, electric mirrors, Bluetooth and an electronic parking brake. Satellite navigation, rear parking camera, leather upholstery and keyless entry are available on most models high. While warning systems, as well as ventilated front seats available as an optional choice.

All Hyundai i40 sedan saloons will have seven airbags as standard safety, along with stability control and hill-start assist. Version with Blue Drive technology will get the engine stop-start system as standard car, which helped set CO2 emissions below 120g/km.
